Kasasa Saver

Save more money. No extra effort.

This is a savings account earning a great rate of return for customers meeting certain statement cycle qualifications.  It offers an automatic way to save more cash.

Benefits

  • Pays a great rate of return on balances up to $10,000 for those meeting the qualifications
  • Pays a very competitive rate of return on balances over $10,000 for those meeting the qualifications

Qualifications

To qualify for “Kasasa Saver” rates, the account must be linked to either a Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account for which you must perform the following during the statement qualification cycle:

  • Have at least 10 debit card purchases post and settle. (ATM processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions)
  • Have at least 1 Direct Deposit of Payroll or Government Benefit or ACH debit Transaction, e.g. monthly insurance draft, post and settle.
  • Must receive statement electronically via online banking with notice given by email
  • Must maintain valid email address (You will be required to notify the bank with any changes to your email address).

*Qualification Information: Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Statement Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for the account’s rewards. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by our bank as ATM transactions, “Statement Qualification Cycle” means a period beginning one (1) business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one (1) business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle.
Reward Information: When your Kasasa Cash account qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, the following rewards will be distributed to your account(s) on the first day of the next statement cycle. When your Kasasa Cash Back account qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, the following rewards will be distributed to your account(s) on the last day of the current statement cycle.
Kasasa Saver: When your linked Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account qualifications are met during a Statement Qualification Cycle a great interest rate will be paid on the portion of your daily balance up to $10,000. A competitive interest rate will be paid on the portion of your daily balance that is greater than $10,000.
Kasasa Cash: a great rate of return is paid on the portion of your daily balance up to $10,000. A competitive rate will be paid on the portion of your daily balance that is greater than $10,000.
Kasasa Cash Back: You will receive a percentage of cash back on up to a limit on Mastercard debit card POS (Point of Sale) purchases that post and settle to the account during that cycle period.
When Kasasa Cash or Cash Back qualifications are not met, Kasasa Saver: A lower interest rate will be paid on the entire balance.
Kasasa Cash: A lower interest rate will be paid on the entire balance and ATM fees are not refunded.. Kasasa Cash Back: No cash back payments are made and ATM fees are not refunded.
*When linked to the Kasasa Saver account, the interest earned within the Kasasa Cash account does not compound since it is automatically transferred to the Kasasa Saver account within one day. This automatic transfer may cause an overdraft to your Kasasa Cash account if the account’s balance is less than the transferred amount when transfer occurs. Rates and rewards are variable and may change after account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings.
Additional Information: Account approval, conditions, qualifications, limits, timeframes, enrollments, log-ons and other requirements apply. No minimum deposit is required to open the account. Monthly Direct Deposit/ACH credit, enrollment in online banking, receipt of electronic statements are conditions of this accounts. Enrollment in electronic services (e.g. online banking, electronic statements, and log-ons may be required to meet some of the account’s qualifications. A Kasasa Cash or Cash Back account is required to have a Kasasa Saver account. A linked Kasasa Saver account is required for automatic savings. There are no recurring monthly service charges or fees to open or close this account.   • Must be an eligible individual to open the account
  • Must already have in place a qualified high deductible health plan
  • Maintain a $750 average daily balance during the statement cycle to avoid a monthly service charge and obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield

  • CDs for less than $2,500 must be written for at least one year
