With You Since 1902
The Bank of Beaver City’s history stretches back before Oklahoma statehood. As cattle operations, farmers and ranches began to dot the Oklahoma panhandle, the need for a safe, secure, local bank became apparent. This led to The Bank of Beaver City being chartered by a group of local businessmen in 1902, providing much needed banking services to the Beaver area.

This is what Local History Looks Like
It’s been more than 120 years since we first opened our doors, and though a lot has changed in our world and in this part of the state, our personal service and community focus hasn’t. The Bank expanded in 2007 by constructing the Liberal Banking Center in nearby Liberal, KS, providing two full-service banking locations to meet customer needs.
Although we’ve brought in modern conveniences like our mobile app and online banking, the people of Beaver, Liberal, Turpin, Forgan and other panhandle and southwest Kansas communities choose The Bank of Beaver City because we’re local, we know our customers, and we care about our community.

Locally Owned, Locally Invested – Banking That Puts Neighbors First
While other local banks in the area has been bought out by regional or national forces, The Bank of Beaver City remains locally owned and operated. Because of that, the money deposited here stays here, and we are empowered to make decisions on a local level that do right by our neighbors.
We can be flexible on a due date, we can donate money where it’s needed or patch things up things around our communities – without making a big show of it.
I like the personal services, its second to none. I am not going to get that anywhere else.
